Heathen transplant to the southwest end of the Bible Belt. Way out here in Lubbock, TX. Originally from Michigan. Relocated to Texas to pursue my version of social justice -- the creation of a charter school. How the location of the school came to be Lubbock is a long, absurd story. Speaking of the absurd, I am strongly influenced by the thinking of Albert Camus. Keep rolling that rock, Sisyphus.

It's slim pickin's in west Texas for a heathen like me. I'm probably most compatible with Black women, but out here they're nearly all married to Jesus, so being a non-believer is a deal-breaker for them.

What makes me a longshot for finding a match is not just my location but also the unrealistic desire to pair up with a attractive younger woman. It's happened before, and I guess it kind of spoiled me.

Anyway, I like intelelctual discussions, skiing, working out, and growing tomatoes (the Phoenix variety is about the only kind that grows well in this harsh climate). My musical favorites are Prince and Miles Davis. Some favorite movies are the Godfather, Schindler's List, and Kiss of the Spider Woman.

So I'm curious to see if any women respond. Miracles do happen, even for non-believers like us.
