For the most part, I've become quite a loner these past couple of years. Seeing that there are less than 10 guys on here from the Richmond area only strengthens my assumption that I have to be able to enjoy my hobbies and interests alone, or with just friends. I've been able to do that quite well for the past few years and have now become quite used to it.
I would love to meet someone that challenges my assumptions. I would love to meet more atheist friends, even if romance is out of the question. 98.5% of my friends are all christian, some are incredibly devout. I'm an easygoing enough person to get along with almost anyone if you check politics and religion at the door, but it would be nice to have more like-minded people in my life.
I'm pretty easy to get along with. I love traveling. I enjoy my job. I enjoy doing many activities -- live music, hiking, snowboarding, museums, movies. I love dancing, though I hardly get the chance anymore. I love amusement parks and roller coasters. I miss being on the open water -- I was in the Navy for 6 years, and would jump at the opportunity to get back at sea, even if just by sailboat.
