Doubleyou, 70

I thought I'd try this as atheism/agnosticism seems to be more important to me than most people registered on dating sites. Here's the profile I have on one of those sites:

After university I moved to Ireland where I made stringed musical instruments and generally did whatever I felt like. Thirteen years later I came back to England to make some money for the first time in my life and ended up in recruitment for 12 years. 5 years ago I gave up my job and am now working self-employed as an antique furniture restorer. I own a 300year old cottage in Hartland, N Devon and love being so close to the amazing coastline. I play the guitar, mandolin, a bit of piano and love a singsong after sufficient red wine. I'm looking for a partner to join me in my new life in the country and wherever else it takes me. I love the wild forces of nature and a walk through a forest or on the beach during a storm really raises my spirits. I'm not into team sports at all[although I'm an active scuba diver] and I'm honest to the point of tactlessness. That all makes me sound a bit serious, which I am but hopefully in a slightly daft, irreverent, self-deprecating kind of way. I love simple rural things but the experience just isn't the same without someone special to share it with. Hopefully you'll be musically inclined, intelligent, articulate, honest [really honest!] and independently minded [verging on eccentric]. You're probably not religious and don't believe in astrology or other pseudo-sciences. You might even feel, like me, that the beautiful complexity of the universe can usually be explained by evolution...although no one will ever know what started it all. If you're also non-materialistic, considerate, warm, silly, loving and looking for a partner in crime to share everything with, we should get along pretty well!
