Free at last I was raised Catholic. For 9 years, I attended parochial school and I believed every word the nuns said. I have recovered from that and evolved. I have come to the understanding that there is more going on then what is documented in an ancient book. Something exists out there and in this world that is far different than the humanized diety I heard of in stories.
While becoming enlightened spiritually, I have become more progressive politically and more mindful environmentally. Ridding myself of the shackles of religion has freed my mind to accept that there are forces our minds may not yet eqipped to recognize a this time but whose existance should not be denied.
I am a strong independent woman who is not afraid of bugs but is a closet romantic. I am a heart politcal junky trying to minimize her footprint on this world. As I grow older, I am being considered more radical by people around me who remain the same.
My angostic beliefs, environmentalist practices, and progressive politics are main driving forces in my daily life.
Skin color and body types are low on my list of desired traits for a man. What I am truly looking for is a man with a wonderful mind and a fantastic sense of humor who can not only understand but maybe even appreciate these practices.
