I am not a die hard flag wavin' athiest. I just think religion is silly stuff for grown-ups to believe in. Fairy tales are for kids. I don't mind using the word, God to descibe what really is a metaphor or concept of how things/nature exists and functions rather than a sentient being. I think that through science we discover "god". Hopefully I don't sound strange to admit that I haven't dated in years. I don't want to give the impression that I've got some terrible "issues" or baggage and that's why I don't date, for reality is less interesting than that. I don't really meet anyone I'm interested in dating because usually I'm not looking to meet anyone, I work mostly at home not in an office or place where others work. I'm busy a lot with my job or projects I'm working on (I can never fit enough into each day). I have great friends, and meeting a man, dating or whatever one might call it sort of became something I think about once in a while and will do "later". So I guess now really is much later than I should have let it get. I'm energetic much of the time, I'm a thinker to a fault. I love the out-doors though I don't get around to doing a lot of the things I used to do most every weekend like hiking, camping, climbing, canoeing (did I spell that right?). I also like to read, watch movies or News/political analysis shows (especially on Sunday mornings). I am very independent, and don't mind doing things alone but think it would be fun to have a special male "friend". I'd like to meet a man who shares many of my values, is affectioate, active minded, compassionate,fiscally responsible, has a sense of honor, is respectful of others and isn't very selfish. I'm attracted to strong men, but not brutes. I am slender fit and prefer someone who takes care of themselves and looks younger than their chronological age, as I do. I like someone who is fun but can be serious and communicate when necessary, as I am that way too.
