I would like to connect with a lady who has the passion for outdoor activity. I have an athletic body and would prefer the lady to have one also. Her personality would be of utmost importance. Too many women on regular dating sites are Christians and therefore conflict with my open view that religions only cause conflict in the world scene. I like John Lennon's song 'Imagine'. That kind of describes how I feel. But even it has drawbacks. I guess you could call me a deep thinker. I don't take anything for granted. I would rather ask "why" then to accept what has been taught to us through human existence. I guess you could call me a rebel in that respect. I'm not big on tradition, rituals, or ceremonies. My background religion is Lutheran, but my minor of Sociology at Drake made me an Atheist. However, that is a strong term to place on anyone. I would rather say, I do not know if there is a creator, nor do I care. I have no interest in extending my life beyond this life. This life is a gift and I want to live it to the fullest and respect other people. I wish all people could live by the golden rule - 'Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.' My other favorite saying is "Variety is the spice of life as long as you don't cheat on your friend". My two favorite sports are tennis and fishing, but I have the ability to be good in other activities such as ping pong, pool, bowling, golf and other events. Instead of playing cards, I would rather play chess. I would try to please the wishes of my female friend whether it's taking her to a nice restaurant or to share a trip with her. I love sightseeing and have seen most of the U.S., parts of Europe, and the Philippines. I was married for 30 years and fell out of love. Been divorced for 8 years. Three dating sites have not produced my match. I hope this one will.
