I am a 28 year old student/author/aspiring professor, and I spend much of my time reading (particularly non-fiction, but some fiction, as well), studying, and researching. As such, I've been somewhat consumed by my professional aspirations these last several years, and haven't found much time for relationships/intimacy. Now, in truth, this fact doesn't cause me a great deal of psycho-emotional stress, but I do often long for the feelings and experiences that come with intimacy and a relationship.
Importantly, I am a very well-read Atheist, in that I have been reading about, discussing, and *nalyzing many of the related issues surrounding Atheism for over a decade (since I was about 15, actually). As such, Atheism is very central to my study, my written material (I am composing a massive, meticulously researched tome on Atheism as I write this, and have actually been at the project for over a year, with probably at least that much still to go!), and my life. And it is in this vein that the rub of my discussion becomes apparent: I wish to find intimacy and connection with someone who shares my naturalistic view of the universe, someone equally unfettered by supernatural doctrines and absurd/plastic moral codes.
In this light, then, my reason for joining this site should be clear: I seek enrichment and intimate connection with a female Atheist, and all the experience that such a relationship would potentially entail.
Finally, I will add a few personal details: As stated, I am a voracious reader, but I am also physically active. To wit, I play on an adult men's soccer team, and actually play soccer two to three times a week. I love many types and genres of music (particularly, electronic dance music, political punk rock, a wide range of Western Classical music, etc., etc.), and I am also into film.
