With today being the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the USA on 9-11-01, I think it is important to not only remember what happened, but why these attacks occurred. These were religious extremists, people who felt so strongly in their own beliefs they wanted to destroy anyone who does not believe the exact same things. There are literally millions of people out there who feel this way. They think they are right and anybody who thinks differently does not have the right to live. It has gone on like this since the creation of gods by man. People have slaughtered each other over which god is right for over 3000 years, and it will never stop until religion is no longer a driving force in the minds of men.

`Yeah, where was "god" in the midst of these terrible attacks? I'm tired of the Christian excuses like "Oh, well He has a plan for us, and we just have to trust Him" or (this one really ticks me off) "just have faith." So his plan was to let almost 3000 people die? I'm totally with you on this one.

`Its really sad that religion can drive people to kill, even more sad when religous people expect everyone to obey their rules including atheists.
Why are we preached to.
Im with you both on this.

`Science flies you to the Moon.
Religion flies you into buildings.
